![]() Its worth noting that if I answer the call I do get the normal menu but not until? The outcome was the phone calls now display at the top of the phone (the name appears with Answer, send response, or reject) but still NO swipe in call progress menu. Hope this helped! ive been going mad trying to sort this out!!!! Blackberry priv not recognizing number press during calls update#This only happened after a software update and now the phone works perfectly Go to main applications screen > scroll down until you see the 'Phone' icon > press and hold on this icon > drag the icon to the top of the screen where it will say 'app info' > you will see a new screen > click on 'Notifications' > disable the Block all option > 3 new options will appear underneath > they should be set as the following, Treat as priority = disabled > Allow peeking = enabled > hide sensitive content = disabled I spent 10 minutes on the phone to blackberry helpline and this is the solution: I have been on several forums and sites to try and solve the problem of the screen remaining black when receiving incoming calls. Prior to receiving your reply I followed the below from another post: If anybody can assist that would be great!ĮDIT - just to make matters worse I have tried another reset and it has been stuck with the loading screen with the blue and white shapes for over 15 minutes now! Obviously can't remove battery so I guess I'll have to wait until the battery dies, charge it and hope it re-boots. The only way that I can answer a call is by clicking the blue phone icon (bottom left) and clicking on 'return to in call progress' or something. ![]() That was until this morning when I have received a number of calls and I am facing the same problem. I reset it and didn't think any more of it as I had no more incoming calls. I thought this was odd but figured it was something that restarting the device would solve. I noticed yesterday when I received a phone call that despite the phone ringing/vibrating it was not displaying the screen with the name/number and the Red/Green dots to swipe and reject/answer. ![]() I attempted to ring Blackberry about this only to hear that they have scrapped the 'free 12 months complimentary support'.great, I had 2 months help! ![]()
